Benefits of membership include:

- The annual Flock Book, in which you can list your flock (however small). All flocks are given a unique number and prefix.
- Access to vet articles published in previous issues of the BCSBA magazine.

- Sheep and wool judging schools, for those wishing to become judges

Subscription for new members is at the special introductory rate of $45 for the first year. After that, ordinary membership is $80 per year. The subscription includes branch as well as association membership.
Junior Membership
For the reduced rate of $30 per year an individual under 18 years old has full membership rights, (including attending field days and meetings, entry rights into all competitions, receipt of the magazine and flock book) except the right to vote at the AGM and other business meetings.
