World Congress Update August 2024

Plans for the World Congress s are slowly starting to firm up as we now have dates confirmed for the Canterbury A & P Show, where the judging of the sheep will now take place on the Thursday. This has required us to adjust our program as follows:

Tuesday 12th November
• Informal meet and greet 6.00 Sudima Airport Hotel
Wednesday 13th November
• Papers presented Sudima Airport Hotel
Thursday 14th November
• Sheep judging Canterbury A & P Show
• Conference Dinner
• Fashion Parade
Friday 15th November
• Papers presented Sudima Airport Hotel
Saturday 16th November
• South Island Bus Tour Departs Sudima Airport Hotel
Friday 22nd November
• South Island Bus Tour Returns Sudima Airport Hotel

Papers/Presentations

We are still looking for people to present “papers” at the Congress. There has been some misunderstanding as to what constitutes a paper. It may or may not have an academic slant. If you think you have a topic that has interest and relevance then we would be really happy to include you. A reminder that you will have 20 minutes to present and then 10 minutes for questions and answers.
