Open Day To Follow Annual Sheep Sale
The annual Black and Coloured Sheep Sale run by the BCSBA will be held on Saturday 5 February, followed by an open day for members of the public. The sale itself will be held at at the A&P showgrounds in Waimate, starting at noon, though viewing is available from 10.30am. A catalogue listing the sheep for sale is now available. While only members of the BCSBA can be vendors, the sale is open to anyone to purchase the sheep.
Following on from the sale, at 2.30pm the open day for interested members of the public will be held at the farm of Stuart and Sue Albrey, 176 Campbells Rd, Arno,, Waimate 7979. This will focus on the various uses that can be made of coloured sheep.
