Sheep and Fleece for Sale - South Island
Ram for sale - Lord Greystoke

A rising two tooth ram with pleasant colour markings and
mid-micron type wool.
Part of the experimental flock at AgResearch Winchmore research station, being culled because he is coloured. These sheep have been selected for bare heads, bare legs, bare belly, bare breech and a genetically short tail. Note that
he has not been docked, and has what we call a shedding tail -
where the wool falls out in the spring so he does not need dagging.
He is not a purebred sheep of any kind, but a composite that we
call Low Cost Easy Care sheep, has proven fertility and produced 4 lambs
out of two ewes, that my wife describes as "gorgeous".
